Courtly Love Event Plot Post

We’re pleased to announce an event suggested by Cupcake. Everyone should prepare themselves for a taste of Courtly Love. She explained it so nicely that I’ll be borrowing parts of her email to pass onto you, shown in italics.
The first part involves each camper who participates making some kind of favor. The favor would be a small object that one could easily wear or carry that essentially represents themselves. The camper can keep the favor and wait to see who challenges them to win it, or offer the favor to someone of their choice. Even better, those who give favors can participate on behalf of someone else. It is also possible for a pair of campers to exchange favors and fight on behalf of each other. There's also no collecting; a camper may only have a maximum of 2 favors at a time - their own, and one other person's. If they want to change the favor they're carrying, they need to surrender it to either the original party or someone else.
Campers can fight for their significant others, crushes, friends, and siblings, as this is meant to be a show of all types of love.
It will take place over the course of a few days: Tuesday-Friday, March 25-28, 2014. There will be an opening ceremony in which the participants can display their strengths, from climbing to archery to even magic. From here, challengers will take on each other in races, personal combat, and shows of strength. They will go against each other twice, as each challenger can choose one form of competition. (Example: Dany and Natalie may compete for the favor of Enjolras. Dany chooses sword fighting for the first round and Natalie must fight in this style. Natalie, then, chooses archery and Dany must pick up a bow and arrow.) This can be discussed OOCLY between players, either on plurk or in this post.
The final event will honor the winners of the tournament and end with a grand feast in celebration.
