They are subtle differences, honestly, but only because you're adding wings on a horse. It requires a little more balance, and a different position for your legs so that you don't interrupt the pegasus' flight.

Honestly, Nancy, I'm just bored. There isn't anything currently challenging my intellect, so I have to set up my own challenges preferably before I go mad.

[She smirks at him. She could fall for him, easily, she realizes. It may take work, but she likes the dangerous sorts.]

[Artemis is a magnet for danger, that's true enough. Hopefully, Nancy is patient with this kid.]

A tall order, but we'll see what we can manage. I'm not the best teacher for the job, but perhaps I'll be good enough.

[He can admit being weak in the field of physical exercise and instruction of such. Heck, Butler makes a mention of it every once in a while.]

Better than anyone I've had before, I'll guarantee that. [She'd tell him about her life before camp, if he asked. About Fagin and his gang, about living in poverty, about whatever love she clung to.]

[He looks disapproving, though not at Nancy. If there's one thing he values in life, it's learning, and bad teaching is just disgraceful.]

Bad teachers, I would guess?

What's worse? Bad teaching, or none at all?

Bad teaching, in my honest opinion. You learn bad habits that take time to undo when a good teacher comes along. When you haven't had teaching, you're working with a clean slate, and it's more rewarding regardless of previous teachings or no if you simply wish to learn. Something I've observed and other reputable sources can confirm.

[This gives her something to consider.] Bad teaching, then. Where they didn't teach me much at all but bad habits. None of them are the sort of thing you want to write home about.
