I think regardless of which time period/AU he's in, Grantaire is always a pining loser, so it can just be one-sided if you want. We can just start them out as a really uneasy, antagonistic friendship of sorts that just kind of built up from being at camp together, then expand on that, if you'd like.

Yes, SO okay with that. I mean I'm coming in with him derping over Enjolras already, so it's however you want to pace it really. Idk how you want to work out the details of that though. Just roll with it and if anything comes up ask over plurk I guess?

As for me uuuuuuuh, all I really know is Enjolras came to camp after his Mom got killed by a drunk driver (which means he's not a huge fan of the Dionysus and alcohol in general...) But other then that all I know is he had a really thick accent, was not so great at English and fought in the war. Anything else is fair game for plotting.
