She doesn't particularly enjoy swordsplay. After all, children of Aphrodite had better things to do with their time, but Cosette seems to be one of the more responsible girls of her ilk, dutifully training with a lighter sword.

Cosette has arrived to the training session early, busy polishing the front of her armor and the sword itself, careful not to cut herself on the blade.

[He's heard about her. The girl Marius fell in love with at first sight. He's a firm believer in the notion, and one of the few that actually believes what Marius says is true.

And as he peeps his head around the corner of the arena, just to steal a glance-

Wow. She is a beauty. The stuff of legends.

Embarrassed, he tucks his head behind a pillar, hoping he wasn't noticed.]

[ Truth be told, Cosette also hopes that Marius would show up. She had known a few of his friends would be in attendance this morning, but.

Well, if he doesn't show, she at least can say she was productive this morning. She hums to herself and tucks a dark curl behind her ear. She does hear some footsteps in the distance and lifts her head. ]

Hello? Who's there?

[Oh, gods, no.

She's seen him staring, and now she'll surely tell Marius, who will get the wrong impression through his lovestruck gaze, thinking he's out to win the heart of Cosette. No, he'll have it all wrong, it's a misunderstanding...

Still, she's noticed him. He can't pretend he's not there now. His cheeks tinge a deep scarlet and he smiles bashfully at Cosette.]

I'm here! I-I'm only having a look around, I'll be on my way now. Thank you.

You don't have to go so soon!

[ Cosette laughs pleasantly, waving him over. ]

You haven't disturbed me, if that's what you're thinking. Are you not here for the training session?

I'm terribly sorry. I-I thought I had.

[He offers her an almost pathetic-looking little smile, and then follows her waving over to where Cosette is. It'd be rude not to.]

I-I only came to gaze upon you, in hopes that I might be inspired. I've heard much about your beauty.

[Prouvaire's always had some difficulty lying.]

Oh, gods.

[ Her laughter softens and she ducks her head to blush, tucking a curl behind her ear. Being a daughter of 'Dite, it comes with the territory, but she will never get used to it. ]

What you've heard about me - it all must be greatly exaggerated. I'm just me, honest!

[Enjolras is not much in the mood for an early morning training session, but he knows that it's important so here he is, rubbing the heel of his hand to his tired eyes. Most would think Enjolras was a morning person - they're horribly mistaken.

Yawning he enters the arena, only to pause spotting the girl polishing her armor. She looks familiar, though he can't place how.]

Good morning...

Good morning! [ Cosette sings happily, always an eager beaver, even at this hour.

She pauses to inspect the amour. Ah, missed a spot. Even when going into battle, she thinks, one should look their best. ]

I suppose the rest are still trudging out of the dining pavilion.

Most likely. I was only in the pavilion for a little bit though.

[Just long enough to grab an apple.]

I don't believe we've met before, my name is Enjolras.

[ Cosette brushes some dirt off her hands and stands to smile prettily at him, extending a hand. ]

Enjolras! Hello, I'm Cosette. I'm - are you a friend of Marius Pontmercy's? [ At the very thought of him, she blushes. ]

Cosette...

[He repeats her name before he realizes why she looked familiar. With a smile he accepts her hand shaking it.]

I am. Marius speaks a lot about you.

[That was an understatement, in Enjolras' opinion. Though at least now he knew her name.]

My goodness, I keep hearing things like that all over camp.

[ She really is embarrassed. It's a lot to take in, getting so much attention, accidentally convincing people to do things for her. But, all the same, it's nice that a boy she adores feels the same way about her.

She releases Enjolras's hand, chuckling softly. ] I suppose you know more about me than I do about you.

A good deal, no doubt. Marius speaks a lot about you.

[He emphasizes 'a lot'. Enjolras is actually a bit unnerved how much he knows about her before even meeting her.]

I suppose I should be surprised, but I'm not. He's very passionate.

[ The very word makes her blush again and she tries not to giggle. No powers were used in the romancing of Marius Pontmercy. Just existing did the trick. ]
