[Oh no, what is with all these random guys at her table. Random Romans that she knows aren't supposed to be sitting here except the one guy. What was his name again? It was like a type of dog...

Well, it didn't matter since Sojourner's just going to have to introduce herself. Plopping down in front of Scott she looks at the others who are definitely not supposed to be sitting here before him again.

If they took all the good stuff may the gods help them...]

Hey! I'm Sojourner, welcome to camp! You're from the Jupiter one right?

[Scott's piled up his plate with ribs, left the strawberries, grapes and cheeses behind. He's a meat-eater, alright - and now that he knows that only Nike and Victoria kids are supposed to be here, he does his best to act as naturally as Stiles, pretending like he was here all along.]

Yeah! Hey, uh, my name's Scott. Scott McCall.

[Awesome, her oranges are safe. Sojourner picks one up, tossing it between her hand.

She gives him an amused look. Right, going to have to try harder. She can see right through his act.]

It's nice to meet you, and no need to look nervous! We don't bite here... 'least I don't think so...

[She trails off, tilting her head to the side and staring at a spot just passed Scott, briefly lost in thought.]

Yeah, yeah. No, no one here bites!

[He looks around for his centurion, Derek - though he's hesitant to tell her that he might, just yet. Besides, he knows Derek's a wolf, but he's never heard of the guy actively biting anyone. Maybe werewolves were different in real life than in the movies. After all, there was the one with the sparkly vampire and the werewolf competing for a girl's love, and the other one with a werewolf who played basketball. Real life couldn't be that ridiculous.]

Were you checking?

Well, yeah.

[She blinks, looking at Scott with a raised eyebrow.]

I mean, I could've forgotten somebody who would bite. But you should be safe!

[After all she's not the brightest bulb in the bunch, the chance of her forgetting is very likely!]

Well, I definitely hope you haven't.

[He rips some meat off the ribs with his fingers, stuffing it in his mouth.]

It doesn't sound very sanitary, anyway.

Probably haven't! Then again... There are the harpies.

[She's teasing, of course. It's not like she's had to run away from harpies threatening to eat her numerous times, not at all.]

... Dude did they not feed you at C.J.?

Harpies - wait, seriously? They eat people here?

[He realizes how fast he's scarfing his food down and shakes his head, trying to pace himself.]

No, no, they did. I just haven't eaten food I didn't catch and kill myself for a while.

Only if they catch you after curfew.

[She grins like the cat that caught the canary.]

And since they haven't caught me yet, I can neither confirm or deny.

[The grin fades, just a little, when he speaks about having to catch his own food. Biting her lip she glances down at her orange, then holds it out to him. Don't worry, it's still unpeeled.]

Probably shouldn't eat all meat, then. Gotta have a balance.

[He takes the orange and rolls it over in his hands a few times, like he's never seen one before. (He has.)

Coach did say he needed to eat more fruits and vegetables, though...

So Scott rips into the rind with his fingers, peeling it back and taking a bite straight out of the orange.]

[There's a slightly horrified expression on her face.

Dude.

Dude. That is not how you eat an orange.]

[About halfway through the orange, seeds and all, Scott realizes Soujourner's staring at him. He blinks a few times, then wipes the juice off his chin.]

What? Did I get something on my shirt?

Don't they teach you Romans anything?

[She grabs another orange, peeling the skin off as she continues.]

That is not how you're s'pose to eat an orange. That's how you eat apples and pears.
