heather ( american idiot ) | daughter of venus, legacy of mars
ok this tryout is just for fun but have a post-ragnarok Hel
She's found herself constantly gravitating to the arts and crafts cabin, though, and she's actually created herself something of a darkroom under one of the tables. She's on her way right now, actually, when she sees Heather at the bottom, looking ready to rock and roll.]
Don't burn yourself too bad up there. I hear gangrene's nasty.

[ She grins and stretches her arms over her head, arching her back slightly. ] At least not so badly. I think it singed my bangs a little, but - ain't no thing! [ Heather bounces from foot to foot, keeping her energy level up along with her heart rate. ] Where are you off to today? I figure it's not the wall.

[Lydia shrugs, watching the girl bounce around. Her enthusiasm is infectious, but if it's getting to her, it's not noticeable.]
Arts and crafts again. I don't think I'm really built for all this combat stuff.

[ It's really an honest question, as indicated by the open expression on her face when she settles on the ground once more, totally still. ] I wish we had more crafty stuff when we were training at - [ Heather frowns, ashamed at how flippant she almost was at the mention of her former home. ] What kind of crafting are you gonna do?

[To some, it might be a lame power, seeing ghosts and spirits wherever she went, but Lydia loved it.
Actually, she preferred ghosts to most people. Lord knows how many she'd meet if she ever went to the ruins of Camp Jupiter.]
I do photography.

[ She pauses and, with both hands, gestures from one invisible category to another. ] I mean, very cool - dead people. Very artsy - photography. [ Heather casually folds her arms over her chest and leans against the rock wall. ]
Wait. How d'you develop your photos here? Old school way?

[She nods a little. The makeshift little darkroom she'd built was something she was quite proud of.]</small. Yeah. You know, under a table, covered by a sheet.

See, I've only ever seen doctored photos on the internet. Photoshop makes me super skeptical, you know? I should take a closer look at 'em, though.

[Sometimes, Lydia gets the feeling that people think she's a bit odd, or even has boring interests. It's just that she's not used to socializing much, considering the way her family's moved around and the way Delia treats her, barely even acknowledging her.]
If you want, I could show you some of my stuff.

Please! I'd like to check 'em out if you don't mind showing me.
