Choose Your Own Adventure!
Peter Pan / Disney / Son of Hebe
Oh well, it probably doesn't matter. What does matter is he can be found soaring through the sky on a pegasus, crowing in joy.]
Merry Brandybuck, Legacy of Epona
He's totally behind kicking an evil Titaness's ass, don't worry, but he's not sure he really fits in the legion. After all, when you're barely five feet...well, people tend to overlook you a lot.
Either way, though, there's one curly haired blond hanging around the stables, apple in hand.
For him, not the horses or pegasi.]

[Pippin Took had met Merry the second Merry had arrived in camp, and had instantly decided the older boy was his new best friend.
Hope that's okay with you, Merry. Two short dudes gotta stick together.]
I hope you were planning on sharing that apple.
omfg I did not expect this
Merry takes another bite of his apple, just a little smug]
How can I share an apple when I don't have a knife to cut it with, Pippin? Get your own!

Something on your mind?

Not really. I thought I'd see about making some new charms. I actually was thinking about asking the Hecate kids about their magic, see if maybe I can use something similar to get the same effect.

Artemis Fowl II | Artemis Fowl | Post-Ragnarok Loki
He has basically decided to indulge his mischievous side and made some clever ways to mess around with the campers, be it somehow tampering with the Apollo instruments so that they can only play the notes for "Mary Had a Little Lamb" or putting glitter on two certain god's ravens. The possibilities are endless.]
no subject
[When he turns around he'll see Mary, looking somewhere between exasperated and amused (default expression when dealing with Artemis/Loki). The glitter isn't all through her locks, but she's definitely got some sections of the sides that have had purple and blue glitter rubbed into them, as if a pair of ravens had been sitting on her shoulders and nudging their black be-glittered bodies up against her hair.]
I look like I'm about to attend a rave in Bristol.

arnold cunningham | the book of mormon | soul piece of saga
And then - then Arnold Cunningham realized that - whoa, whoa, this is just like Clash of the Titans. Super cool. (And terrifying.) And she said he had a piece of - a Norse goddess in him? Okay, at first, he'd told her - no, lady, with all due respect, you have the wrong guy, there's nothing special about me, I'm a follower - but she didn't take no for an answer, and she told him this was his call to adventure, this is your time to shine, Arnold.
Which freaked him out even more.
And so after some careful wording to Arnold's dad about how she's recruited Arnold for a missionary training center, and how she thinks it'll help him to become an upstanding member of the Church...he's here, at this camp full of crazy awesome mythological creatures and he's apparently got to meet this girl who'll come along and call herself Saga, and that he'll know. And while he's not exactly sure that this is the right thing to do...well, maybe he'll help someone. Maybe it'll be good.
And, then again - in Utah, nobody'd ever let Arnold get his hands on a real sword before. Which is why he's hacking off the heads of dummies in the Arena and making lightsaber noises with his mouth.]

[The lightsabers are a great touch. Really. He's not weirded out at all... but then, he's wandering around with two ravens perched on his shoulders, so...
Anyway, he figured he'd check out the new addition to the Norse ranks once the birds mentioned he was there and that he was a soul piece... and a Mormon. That would be interesting.]

Re: arnold cunningham | the book of mormon | soul piece of saga
Except Gyda was never any good at it. She just wasn't a fighter. And yet here she is with a spear, pausing off to the side as she watched another camper behead dummies while making a strange noise.
... And she couldn't help but giggle.]

Katniss Everdeen / The Hunger Games / Daughter of Apollo
That's why Katniss prefers the woods. She's settled along the edge of the trees today, watching a set of rabbit snares that she's laid out along the nearby bushes. She rarely catches anything, with the exception of another camper's annoyance ... but it calms her down, being out here alone.]
no subject
He should really know better than to be in the woods by himself -- asthma, wolves, giant immortal-ish monsters, but he's armed with a dagger and shield, at least. In any case, he's settled down in a spot not too far away from Katniss, sketching and looking thoughtful.]
